My name is Laura- I was born here in California and at four when my dad came home after accepting Christ in prison, he brought my mom and my older sister (sarah) and I to a local foursquare church. I was baptized at seven, but when I was 12 and moved across the valley and we found that by doing so, my father was breaking parole and was sentenced for another few years, I had to reconsider what I believed in. I joined the youth group at church and when I decided to seek, Jesus found me. I gave my heart to Him at 12 and the change in my life that followed could only be termed ‘radical’. Jesus has helped me to gain confidence, overcome my fear of how others think of me, find and employ the gifts He has given me through the holy spirit, and find in Him the father I’ve been for years deprived of. I looooove music– making it, listening to it, everything about it thrills me…I love to take pictures, and, until the Lord called me to full-time ministry, I had my heart set on becoming a photo-journalist. I loooove soccer and rugby and used to play on teams for both sports. A year and a half ago I joined the drama group at my school, and I love to be on stage, but unfortunatley, I don’t like actors very much so I don’t think I’ll pursue the stage . My favorite thing to do is write!! (short stories furnished upon request). That’s basically me–ooooo and my favorite colour is yellow, and my favorite flowers are dandilions (YES, they are flowers), and I can staple better than anyone I know.

Hi Laura!
First of all, I just wanted to say hello and that I am really excited to meet you in person!
Second, I am really excited about your favorite flower being dandelions. I love them, too, although they’re not my favorites. (mine are daffodils!)
And third, how did you become so good at stapling? It’s a very unique talent 🙂
