I'm kind of with Victoria on this one… I feel like I should be a pro at this but it has taken a while to be able to do it and even take out the time to do (which is more the real reason why it's taken so long).

 

My name is Mary Upole and I'm 19 years old... My birthday is on July 4th so yes I share a b-day with America! I'm 5ft...and a quarter (hey if your short you count every measurement you can)! I am a middle child and have an older brother and a younger sister.

 

God has been amazingly faithful like He always is and has provided all of the support I need for this trip! I remember when I first started thinking about doing this trip I had e-mailed them and asked them what would happen if I did not receive all of my support. I day or so later a woman from AIM called me and answered my question but sweetly reminded me that I needed to trust God that if this was His will then all the money would come and not to start the planning process expecting God to fail me! I knew this fact because I had done mission trips before but I needed the reminder! God did just that He provided everything I needed! I am SO very excited to be leaving in only a few weeks! To be totally honest though I'm a little nervous at the same time! I can't wait to see what God does in my and through our team! I know it's going to be amazing! I am excited too meet all you guys and experience this life changing 3 months with all of you!!!! I am praying for you all!
