I'm from a small town near Toledo, Ohio (think really flat farmland). When I'm not at school, I live there with my parents and two dogs (a beagle and a collie, if you care). I have an older sister, too, who teaches and lives in Toledo. We're a pretty close family, and they're really excited about me going on this mission trip. I am currently in my last semester at Miami University and I can't wait to graduate in December! I am also busy applying to graduate programs in Speech and Language Pathology for the fall of 2008. I like to read (especially children's books), play board games, make new friends, watch stupid movies, and laugh at bad jokes. I became a Christian at a young age, but I've been learning a lot more about God's character in my college experience. I've never really been on a mission trip like this before, but I'm excited about being out of my comfort zone and sharing Jesus with people we meet.
