My name is Cassie Bumgarner. I am 27 years old and having been doing missions for the past 10 years. I have worked in Guyana, Turkey, Spain, England, Ireland and The Netherlands. I have also worked on various projects in the U.S. including Hurricane Katrina relief. The first mission trip I took was with AIM in 1999.
I graduated from Marshall University in 2004 with a degree in Journalism and Graphic Design. Since then I’ve worked as a substitute teacher, production assistant, freelance writer and graphic designer. In 2006 I completed a Discipleship Training School with YWAM, and then moved to West Virginia, where I am originally from. I’m currently involved with a new church plant and help head up the missions and outreach department. I love working with Women and Children, and with Muslims and the Middle Eastern part of the world.
